Award Accolades

Hyun-June Leonard Ro (University of Toronto):
I am grateful and appreciative for this 2009’ A.C.A. Distinction Award. I felt a wonderful rapport not only with those in A.C.A., but with all of the team members I have had the fortune to work with. I’ve learned many qualities from them. These qualities include professionalism, the demonstration of thoughtfulness and capacity to grow under corresponding circumstances. I would like to dedicate this award to my family, friends, D.T.P.: Lori Pynn, Kelly Del Prete. Additionally, since I spend most of my time with the Salvation Army, it is imperative that I mention James, Art, Gary, and Carolina. Lastly, to Her Excellency the Right Honourable MichaĆ«lle Jean for her kind words of recognition and encouragement.

Chris Meunier (Ryerson University):
I appreciate your honouring me with this award. Thanks goes out to the staff and fellow students at Ryerson University. I also would like to thank Michaelle Jean, Anti-Crime Association, my girlfriend Nora and my daughter. I appreciate your consideration in designating me for this award. This award is certainly an honour and I am privileged to have helped my community in the prevention of crime.

Gary Liang (University of Toronto):
I would first like to thank Madame Michaelle Jean for this award. It is an honour to receive this year’s Anti-Crime Association Distinction Award. I am grateful to be given this award and I hope that this will help spread awareness of laptop theft. I would like to thank my team members Hyun-June Ro, Chris Meunier and Cheng Zhou for their efforts in making all of this possible from start to finish. I would also like to thank my family and friends for their support. Thank you again to all those who made it possible and I am grateful to be given recognition for our efforts.
