Clinton Valentine founded the Anti-Crime Association in 2009, to bring justice to those marginalized population which have been overtly targeted, monitored and have had there civil rights breached, etc. The anti-crime association is focused on the civil rights of our community.

Sajeev Yohanathan (University of Toronto)
Sajeev Yohanathan has graduated with a Neuroscience degree from the University of Toronto in 2009. Sajeev is in the process of acquiring his MD and is passionate about becoming a Neurosurgeon. He has been a role model in the community and has been elected to executive positions in various associations within the campus and across the GTA. Sajeev co-founded the Anti-Crime Association after numerous reports of theft were being reported at the University of Toronto. He has established a youth worker program to help those individuals who have been involved in crime.

Paul Chen (University of Toronto)
Chief Business Development Officer, Paul Chen is currently in his final year of undergraduate studies at the University of Toronto and intends to pursue law school shortly after. As a junior, Paul implemented a big brother/sister initiative on campus which allowed freshmen and those interested to exchange education and knowledge in regards to enhancing student safety and creating a safer environment. He also runs seminars on how to prevent and deal with the increasingly problematic practice of cyberbullying.

Wins Lai (University of Toronto)
Wins Lai is a sophomore at the University of Toronto focusing on Political Science. She plans on pursuing law school after completing her undergraduate studies. Besides advocating for student safety and methods of deterring crime; Wins plays a key role in the recruitment and expansion of membership in the A.C.A.

Jamie Chung (York University)
Jamie Chung is finishing up his undergraduate studies at York University and will be heading to teacher’s college in the fall of 2009. With a focus on Political Science and Government, he has a keen interest in the criminal justice system and continuously researches for ways to promote fairness and equality. Jamie has also coordinated a walk safely initiative on campus to promote student safety.

Lindsay Burns (University of Ottawa)
Lindsay Burns is entering her fourth year at the University of Ottawa, where she is studying Criminology and Psychology. She has always had a strong interest in the Criminal Justice System, and intends to pursue a career working in this field. She is especially interested in the area of Restorative Justice. As the University of Ottawa representative for the Anti-Crime Association, Lindsay aims to create a link between uOttawa and anti-crime initiatives, keeping students informed and making it easy for them to get involved.

David Wu (University of Guelph)
David Wu is currently completing his last year of a Bachelors of Commerce degree at the University of Guelph. Specializing in real estate and management, he intends on pursuing a joint law/MBA program after graduation. As a strong advocate for proper business ethics and conformity to government regulations; David holds vital information sessions for aspiring entrepreneurs and business owners on a regular basis around the community.

Mike Berry Hon. B.A. (Alum. University of Windsor)
Mike has graduated from the University of Windsor in 2007, and is currently working at Desjardins Financial Corporation. Mike and Sajeev were the original founders of the Anti-Crime Association in 2007. Since that time, the A.C.A. has grown to represent members from 10+ universities throughout Canada. Mike is an honourary A.C.A. lead director and is still active in advocating changes within the criminal justice system.

Jonathan Chan (Carleton University)
Jonathan Chan is a junior at Carleton University specializing in accounting. He intends on pursuing both his CA designation and law school after graduation. With an interest in the prevention and deterrence of white-collar crime – in particular, corporate accounting fraud – Jonathan continuously analyzes cases in order to gain valuable knowledge to share with the community.

Morgan Chan (Ryerson University)
Morgan Chan is a sophomore at Ryerson University and plans on attaining his CFA designation along with pursuing an MBA after graduation. Morgan strong believes in the creation and maintenance of a safe community through crime deterrence and sufficient security. He regularly holds discussion groups with the aim of both establishing new innovative ideas along with further elaborating existing ones with the sole purpose of a better Toronto for all.
